Wurzburg Pumping Line Leak Repair

Universität Würzburg discovered a small leak in a dilution fridge they had purchased from another supplier. Having narrowed down the leak to the IVC pumping line, they approached ICE to ask if we would pinpoint and repair it.

Once ICE received the system the test department performed some diagnostics and found that the leak was likely to be coming from an elbow joint. The assembly department re-welded this joint and cleaned the system. After this was complete, the test department performed another nitrogen leak test and found that the system was no longer leaking.

The system has now been returned to the customer and is up and running in their laboratory at the University of Würzburg in Germany.
